I think this a terrible attitude to have; to consider humans as a virus.
Humans are just another animal trying to exist on this planet. We don't all ruin the environment, or torture & murder animals.
Animals alter their environments & can be vicious & cruel to other animals & each other. Its just nature, the way things are.
Humans have altered some natural environments for the better.
Humans are on the most part wonderful to other humans & animals.
Humans write beautiful music, create wonderful art, & are constantly looking for ways to improve everyone lives.
We care for the sick & poor.

Humans are inherently good

I'm was talking in general, I understand that not everyone is bad ...the human race is in fact inherently bad not good...we have the ability too think to reason ...yet our history is full of evidence of just how bad we are .. think how many people have died from wars ...from genocide red Indians ..Jews and Hitler ..how many animals are extinct or near extinct from our actions whales hunting ...the orangutans ..the rain forests .....because the human race multiplies and consumes till there's nothing left ...already we are looking for another home another planet too spread too because the earth is too full..
A virus will multiply. spread and consume till there is nothing more ...
Not all people are bad ..no of course not ..but the human race is not good for this planet ...the human race is good for the human race ...the evidence is in our history

I don't believe they would not be jailed for this. The FBI has learnt from profiling serial killers that this type of unwarranted & extremely violent behavour towards innocent animals is a prequel to later crimes.

To be accurate, it’s the repeated abuse, torture and killing of animals that *may* indicate a potential for commuting future violent crime.

A single incident doesn’t indicate anything, other than they are ****** people. Saying that, It is still a horrible act, and they should be punished.

Carbon Dioxide Fertilization Greening Earth, Study Finds



From a quarter to half of Earth’s vegetated lands has shown significant greening over the last 35 years largely due to rising levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, according to a new study published in the journal Nature Climate Change on April 25.
An international team of 32 authors from 24 institutions in eight countries led the effort, which involved using satellite data from NASA’s Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectrometer and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer instruments to help determine the leaf area index, or amount of leaf cover, over the planet’s vegetated regions. The greening represents an increase in leaves on plants and trees equivalent in area to two times the continental United States.

Green leaves use energy from sunlight through photosynthesis to chemically combine carbon dioxide drawn in from the air with water and nutrients tapped from the ground to produce sugars, which are the main source of food, fiber and fuel for life on Earth. Studies have shown that increased concentrations of carbon dioxide increase photosynthesis, spurring plant growth.

However, carbon dioxide fertilization isn’t the only cause of increased plant growth—nitrogen, land cover change and climate change by way of global temperature, precipitation and sunlight changes all contribute to the greening effect.
