Thanks @Jay Hemdal would you recommend increasing the dosage at all for the final dose? Not sure if that would help combat the bacteria consuming the prazi or not.

No - if you are using Prazipro or General Cure, don't increase the dose. If you did, that would increase the solvent amount in prazipro or would increase the metronidazole dose in General Cure.

Using pure praziquantel powder, you could increase the dose to 4 ppm.

@Jay Hemdal so it’s been 4 days since the last dose of prazi just saw a different fish (firefish) flashing today. Here are some videos. It’s like the prazi has limited effectiveness and the flukes aren’t completely removed. What do you think? Or could what I’m seeing just be normal behavior, or even due to some other irritant / parasite / problem in the tank?

No other symptoms or anything visible on any of the fish.

Another video lower quality, but shows the flashing twice. Beginning and end.

Four days seems like a very quick time for flukes to hatch out and reinfect the fish (that's why we use an 8 day cycle). I wonder if this is just behavioral? If it is flukes, you'll likely need to move the fish and put them through 30 days at half salinity....

Thanks @Jay Hemdal i also wonder if it’s behavioral. I’ll monitor everyone and stick with the plan. If there are clear signs of flukes again I’ll get a large qt tank and run everyone through hypo and fallow the DT for 60 days.

@Jay Hemdal @vetteguy53081 thank you for all of your help. About a month later and all of the fish are doing well no signs of any disease. Appreciate your help and the time spent educating me. Very valuable!
