Too much flow for acro?

Hi guys,
Is this too much flow for my sps / acros? the digi has its polyps extended and so does the teal and bonsai acro in the back but the front 3 have poor extention, especially the fox flame acro (middle)

Is it too much flow or just adjusting or is it too much surface agitation / bubbles?
How should i change my flow, i have the return pump set on a gyre pattern and the jebao gyre pump in the back is pointed at a 45* up and around half of the tanks depth down but still is making the water splash ontop of the lid or is that fine.
I have the pump and wavemaker set to intercept each other in flow to create randomness but made the change earlier, do i give the acros some time to adjust and wait for PE or adjust flow to reduce the air bubbles

return pump is aimed at the between of the digi mini colony and the jf flame, should i just move the gyre up and point it horizontal across the water column and into the rock structure i made for the acros and let the acros and rock break it up for the rest of the tank?

How tall is this tank? And how many inches is that gyro above the frags?

its the aquaone reef 120L and the gyre wavemaker is around the middle of the tank but is pointed up 45 degrees at the water surface, if u mean the return pump im not sure but the second video shows it

From my impression, you have 2 concerns, one is acros PE, and second noise form pumps,
From my experience acro dont to well from constant direct flow from the pumps. But no PE on acro can be way more possibilities then just flow.
Because its gyro. I would actually pick it up higher and aim it downward so you wont hear splashing much.

Think it’s pretty hard for the general/average flow in the tank to be too much for acros. But right in front of the power head can be too much. So I generally either put the frags out of the line of direct flow or at least leave several inches for the flow to disperse

This tank is only 12 inches tall and I have 2 gyros on each end blasting 100% its not directly aiming at corals, but just above them

the splashing isint really a problem since its in a fish room, the pump noises are actually from airstone machines next to the reef tank

what % is the wavemaker on? how about i try moving the pump up so its right behind the acros but turn down the % and let it blow into them or over them? or maybe just level with the rock theyre on?

Id avoid direct flow at the coral.
My jebao gyro is at 100%

mine is at 51% right now since my tank is mostly lps, what % and angle do you think i should change it to?

also where should i aim the return pump then? if i turn it towards the side glass then the rest of my tank wont receive enough flow

How strong is your return? I have placed corals in the path of returns but I had a random flow generator

not sure how i would measure that, should i just put a rubber band infront of the pump to show?

I think the best would probably leave it be and observe? Reading your earlier post if it’s forest fire digi I would feel fine because it’s pretty hardy

the ones im concerned about is the jf flame, fireworks and poletta pink tip, when i said the digi i meant it was aimed betwen the digi and the jf flame
