This gorgonian was flourishing and fine until Wednesday, the extra flow was put in last Saturday morning but the polyps were out and full, Wednesday I did a 25 gal water change as I hadn’t done one for a while because I’ve been trying to bring up nutrients, it’s a 120 gal system, I also changed a clear braided vinyl hose to a black silicone hose which I just saw thread stating that the hose might leak tin into the water?(uncomfirmed) I also have read the gorgonians shed sometimes, any help is appreciated!

Interesting, I'll check up on gorgs shedding, I have 3 of them and never saw them shed, but there are so many species of gorgs so who knows..

To me it looks like a tiny bit too much flow, but if you say the polyps are out then I would trust the polyps.

Way too much flow. Those gorgs need a very gentle flow. When you get the flow correct, the polyps will open .

Mine love white light and fast water.
Happy being tossed around.
