I have my fish in QT right now so I switched up my rock work to stack it higher and add more caves. Does this seem like too much rock for a 75g?

Are U planning on adding corals?
Yes. I've got a decent amount in there but I added some rock also and spread everything out more. Here's the tank with lights on.

Generally I think the more rock the better for bacteria, pods etc. HOWEVER that's mainly to put in the sump. In the main part of the tank my rockwork doesn't go above the 50-60% threshold of the tank height as corals (sps especially) will branch out a lot and take a lot of room.

So personally I'd say if you want a lot of corals maybe reduce the height of the rockwork a bit and ensure there's little caves and places fish can hide so they're chill

I would make the height of the rock 50-70% of the tank. So we can put coral on top and give them room to grow. Looking at the tank right now I would take some rock and put it in a sump or just remove it. I would also give about 1.5-inch space between the rock and glass.

heres a picture of when i first started. the left is about 40-50 % height and right is about 75 % height. and lots of space between rock and glass so i can put coral on the sand. at the beginning it will look empty but as you go on with this hobby more coral will fill up that empty space.
