Picked up a few top crown snails today. Was told they just eat algae. Anyone else have them before? Or know anything about them?
These guys are massive compared to any other snail. They also move amazingly fast. In minutes one went from the sand to a few inches above the water upside down on the underside of the glass lid.
Can't find much about them online as apparently they are not very popular. I wonder why though? If they only eat algae then with this speed only 3 or 4 should be able to keep my entire tank clean
