Cycle is almost complete - have a standard 90 gallon 48 × 21 with center brace - what is the best top option? I have wires for wavemakers, two 3/4 locline returns, and a neptune auto feeder needing access - do you like the diy screens or something else?

Thats not a bad call. Thanks! May try something like that in black with some cable ties or something to hold a little feed door...

I think it costs like 15 bucks for a panel. I only needed one but it is easy to scale it up if needed.

Egg crate in general is awesome in reef tanks and makes for good DIY frag racks and skimmer stands as well.

Tried eggcrate one time.

Am wondering now if something a bit more narrow might work or even putting screen on top of the eggcrate...

Are You looking for a store bought or willing to Diy.
I diyed Mine. About 5 inches of egg crate across the back. This is esasly cut out to fit a feeder or cable what ever then covered the rest with the mess screen & window frame. An easy job & not as pricy as a store bought. Now the store bought's look better if that's your goal .

That would work!! How did you attach the screen to the egg crate or how did you build the screen (I have the edge and a the tool from other work around the house...) Any chance you can shoot a picture?
