This top shell was crawling over my GSP. I removed him from the coral, and the polyps came back out and seemed OK.

Now he's back. These top shells are definitely algae eaters, so what is he doing???

Could be an over zealous cleaner getting after the algae & detritus down inside the GSP. I catch my snails cruising over the closed polyps after the lights go out, especially the turbo.

Hmm, yeah might have been something caught down amongst the polyp stubs. The coral seems to be undamaged.
