Started this tank thread as we recently purchased a new tank after our RSR 425xl split a seam (yep, another one). Wife put a limit on size this time as she was/is scared of another mess of gallons of water all over our living room.

Anyway, back to the new tank. Its a fluval flex 32.5 marine edition. We picked it up second hand but it hadn't ever been out of the box so it was a steal. I knew I was not planning on keeping the stock lid and light bar and instead going to use two of the kessil a360x from the RSR.

Ill list all the current upgrades here as well as a few pics of where we currently at with the build.

Return pump - jebeo dc1500 - 400gph
Lighting - 2 x kessil a360x
Double RFG nozzle from return pump
Tunze 3155 ato
Jebeo mlw10 wave pump
Jebeo dmp10 x 2 (should arrive this week)
25lbs of fiji pink live sand plus a handful from our waterbox 20 to seed
22 lbs of Marco Rock kept in buckets after the seam split, bleach soaked for 3 days and rodi rinsed and soaked before making new aquascape.
Fluval 150 watt heater abf inkbird controller

Also built a false wall for under the tank to hide all the wiring with only the controllers visible. Everything is plugged into a pair of Kasa smart strips so it's all voice controllable via Alexa.

Just started the cycle on Saturday so few weeks to go altho i did start it with SeaChem Stability but not sure if it helps or not. Have ghost feed some reef roids and tank is showing Ammonia after testing this evening.

Its weird to see such white and bare rockwork compared to how our old tank looked like 6 months ago.

I like the idea of doing a false wall to hide the electrical equipment!
