Gotta be the latter, right? No baby coral has a skeleton?Seems kinda chicken or egg. Do polyps exist because there is a skeleton, or does skeleton exist because there are polyps?

It's way too close to 420 on the West Coast to be posing such deep questions : )Gotta be the latter, right? No baby coral has a skeleton?
There's no harm in keeping it around. Just don't expect it to do anything except eventually die.
Fortunately not.. it involves one tank terrorist though.I hope this story involves brown jelly!
I mean if a hammer can, a torch has to be able to?! Right?! I'm rooting for this pre-madona overpriced lps at this point! I mean for a few hundred dollars it should grow a skeleton, make babies, and pay for itself IMO.https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/lobo-regrowing-skeleton-after-polyp-bailout.768405/ take it as you will.
Maybe torches can't. You can't really know unless you put the attempt in.
Sweepers happened.I think i have his brother!
So what happened?!
I've surrounded my bubble with leathers and toadstool. Tough as, well, leather... lol!Sweepers happened.
This bubble demands 12" of stand off apparently. When the sweepers were 6 in I moved everything 8 in away. It killed some things. Move things farther, sweepers get longer..
And keeping my "significant other " from unplugging my tank when it makes a noise (eg alarm) is also key... lolKeeping it from flowing off is the only way to find out. I can't say.
Does he have a sister? Or even a brother--maybe i should i turn gay. HahahahahaI'm lucky. My husband loves my hobby.
There is cloning technologyThey are all taken ;Hilarious
Yup. YourwifeisgunnakillyouThere is cloning technology
The only thing I've found to work is keeping strong up flow under the bubble now so that the sweepers really only go in a safe direction.I've surrounded my bubble with leathers and toadstool. Tough as, well, leather... lol!
They seem to draw the fire of the bubble and dont seem any worse for it.
For sure. I have a bit of acropora so flow seems keep the bubble in check and the sps happier. Took some thought to find spots for gonnies and hammers, etc, though. The bubble can take a surprising amount of flow for sure! The only thing I've found to work is keeping strong up flow under the bubble now so that the sweepers really only go in a safe direction.
