Why is my torch tentacles swollen but other ones seem normal?

i've had him for 2 weeks now and the tank 6-7 weeks old he they not swollen anymore

I would also say that torches are in the medium difficulty camp to keep.

If you're doing regular water changes, have good light and flow, should be fine.

FWIW, I have torches that look like this sometimes, and they often change appearance when they are expelling waste, or they get bothered by a critter.

I've been doing everything you noted above,
yeah woke up this morning with him being normal now this is first time i've seen him do that but now he's back to normal.
