How often and how much are you feeding them? Remember, as well, that orifice is multipurpose.

i feed them about once a week with the roids as its some pretty dirty stuff, i fed all my corals today and one of them is spitting out orange goo which to me looks like undigested roids so I'm worried i may have overfed that particular specimen, does the poop always look dark brown or can it be the color of what they ate?

If they are excreting it, only do it after you feed it, and are still looking happy don't give it a second thought. I've seen them ingest some fairly large food items and be just fine. I, personally, have never seen one excrete, so count yourself lucky. Capture it on camera next time.

Seeing if I can restart this question. I have 3 torches and only one will eat reef roids. Oddly enough it also seems to regurgitate it after eating. It scrunches up real fast and tight and it pushes the brown clump out. Any ideas anyone?
