Might make it but doesn't look like it was in super shape prior. Looks like a lot of the skeleton showing around the top. How long have you had it?

Pics in white light please..

As been promised :)
I would show u the other side but i dont want to stress out the head any more by touching it . But as far as i can see i would guess that the flesh is retracted also on that side .

Maybe not a coinsidence when his skeleton is cracked ? I cant remember if it had it before the crack .

Thanks in advance .

I have seen a lot of these instances of damaging the euphyllia's skeletons while trying to detach them from the frag plug. I recently got some hammers and having seen these, I just decided to cut the stem off the base and glue the disc to the rock. They're going to grow, hopefully, and eventually you won't see the disc anymore.

What's done is done. I have seen other people's euphyllia recover so give it a shot. Nothing ventured nothing gained. Best of luck.

I did the same thing removing a hammer broke vertically with three pieces with polyps. Figured it was a goner but the one with the most polyps made it. Fingers crossed.

for mine it wasnt falling appart , more like cracked at 2 places .. so its still together and over that i put the glue for some stability , sort of a brace .

il hope it'l make it .
