Torch ID help….

Soooo… i was sold a “New York Knicks” torch… I have since come to realize it is, in fact, NOT a Knicks. ….. But what is it??? Just a purple torch? It has lavender/white tips with lavender/white stripes on most tentacles.

Did you see it in person before you bought it? Or did you buy it based on photos online ?

Knicks the tentacles would be Half purple and half gold, almost as if each one was divided in half longways

I have not heard of a torch with white stripes. White tips I’ve seen and own, but I have not seen or heard of white striped tentacles

My concern is - is it a Knicks, that’s been bleached and all the gold sections are now white. This is why i asked if you saw this in person before you bought it. Was it ever gold?

It kinda looks bleached from the picture you have. Hopefully you didn’t pay a big price for it

I did see it in person. I had never heard of a Knicks before so I had no idea what I was looking at. I can say that there has never been any gold in it. I just liked the purple. Lol. All I have are Dragon souls, hellfires, and 21 tales.
It is a huge possibility that it was already bleached though. I’ve had it several months now. If that’s the case, what should I be doing for it? For the first few weeks, it lived on the sand bed. It is mid tank now. It has always been a little guy. But no real changes in it since bring it home.

Well… it was $85. lol. I definitely bought it like this though…I’d never heard of a Knicks at that point (several mi the ago). Anything I should be doing to help it along? It’s always been a little guy.
