Torch not looking so good

Had this guy for about a month and everything was fine until maybe a week ago it started expanding less and now it just looks like the pic most all of the time. Everything else seems to be happy. I do 20% water changes with LFS RODI water weekly. Is this normal or should I be panicking? Only thing new is I've added some phosguard to try to help with a diatom outbreak. Could that be related? Tank is about 8 weeks old.

Also, hes a out half way up the rockwork and today I moved the powerhead to reduce flow on him though i dont think that was an issue.

Looks like he still has flesh over his skeleton which is a good sign. You mention phosguard what are your params at?

Reduce white light intensity which seems a bit bright especially for acclimation, place it in lower 1/3 of tank where there is moderate flow and do feed 1-2X per week.
VERIFY salinity even if you have run a water sample to a trusted LFS - range 1.025-1.026 and temp 77-78 deg and ph:7.9-8.2

Phosphates dont register in testing but I added the PG to help with diatoms. Taking that out now
