Sorry, I’m not 100% sure what I’m looking at. Do you have a picture of the torch from when you first got it? When you say that the skeleton is showing, do you mean the flesh band has receded? Or that you can see the base of the coral because it’s not fully extending? I see polyp extension which is positive. Please post your parameters as well.

Please share those parameters and post the results of the salifert tests. The base turning white isn’t a bad thing. That was algae which has now died or been eaten by your CUC. It’s hard to tell from that first picture, but I might see minor recession in the flesh band. Let’s see what the water parameters look like. Did you dip this coral before placing it in the DT?Sorry, I’m not 100% sure what I’m looking at. Do you have a picture of the torch from when you first got it? if you zoom in you can just about see the sort of ‘protective’ later that has now been pushed back, if you mean the flesh band that looks fine the one sitting just below the tentacles, im also awaiting all my salifert test kits, only parameters i can give are ammonia, salinity, pH, nitrite, nitrate, but happy to give them if would help
