Hey everyone. Had this torch for a couple of months and has been doing great. Randomly went to feed today and it looks like this.

All other corals doing good, including torches/frogs/hammers.

Salinity 1.025
Calcium - 420
Nitrate - 10
Dkh- 7
Phos - 0.2

I really hope it isn't BJD. If just that head dies, will the whole torch go too?

The ABC dip is spot on. not to mention DEF is definitely good. GHI is when none of those work, as a Last resort. Although my homie used JKL dips and said he saw some improvements. Never worked for me tho.

gl finding those products. They're RARE

Definitely can't get those products anytime soon. Live in a very small town. Should I pull this torch or just keep a good eye on its progress?

If you can go to a pharmacy and get povidone iodine, you can use that as a substitute instead. Use tank water and use enough iodine to get a light tea color. Dip for 10-20 mins.

I went on and cut the bad head off. The other side is already trying to come back out. Hopefully that fixes it

If you are still having problems with one head. You can do 50/50 with perioxide

Well the other head was perfectly fine this morning. Came home and it looks just like this one now.

It seems any of the purple, pink, or blue tipped green torches don't make it in our tanks. All of our other torches and euphylia are doing great. Really weird but I guess it happens
