Hi all,

Noticed today my torch had some retracted tentacles and some were looking much lighter in color than usual. Does it look like it is starting to bleach? I have turned down the intensity on my lights to see if that helps. For reference I have posted before and after videos below. Thanks for your help.

Just tested water today
Salinity - 1.026
Calcium - 400
Mag - 1400
DkH - 8.4
Phosphate - .07
Nitrate - 10.8

What kind of light do you have and what intensity? This coral likes light..... losing color could be a sign of low light or high light....

I might be interested in a before pic too, to see the color difference.
There is both a before and after. Do you not see 2 videos attached?

Its a RS max nano with the stock ReefLED 50. I had it on 80% blue and 30% white but now turned it down to 65% blue and 10% white

I don’t see either video.
If you post with You-Tube, you will reach a larger audience.

Can you show your full tank shot, its hard to see how high your torch is placed on the rockwork to the lights.

Also - do you have any other torch's around the same point?

Seems to be doing a little better already since turning the lights down. Will update again if anything changes. Light must have started to burn it but caught it early enough.

You may need to drop it down to the bottom of the tank, or so its shaded by some rockwork or coral.
