Trachy Coral Getting worse

I got this open Brain a few months ago. The LFS let me know it was stung under their care but was doing great and sold it to me at a 20% discount (80 bucks). Well the missing flesh part is getting g bigger. It opens during the day and eats when I offer it food. Anything else I can do for it??

I would try an iodine based dip. Keep the tank stable.
