I have had a neon green trachy for about 6 months. Color looks great and it has grown. However, it has started to flatten out and has lost that full plump look. I feed it at least twice a week and feed my mixed tank heavily. Just weird why it is flattening out...
ALK: 8.2
MG: 1390
CA: 430
Phosphates: .06
Nitrates: 10
PH 8.1-8.2
TMP: 97.8-98.2
Run lights 9.5 hours/day
Located in sand bed in a 30 inch tall tank.
Last time I got an ICP test Iodine was on the high side but not sure where it is now.

If someone has an idea what is going on I would greatly appreciate the info, thank you.

My buddy @vetteguy53081, thanks again!! I have 4 MP40s with diffusers (running low/medium) from BRS so there is good flow. Par low at that spot in the tank, 50-75 par. 235 G w 60 G sump. Is that sufficient in your opinion. Running TMP 97.8-98.2 consistently.

vs
Your pancake!

Jk. Seriously. No tissue receding, peeling, or deflated. Your trachy maybe just happy.

Also, no idea on icp test. Parameters I keep my tank at are

Calc 450 -480, mag 1450-1480, alk 8.4 - 9. Nitrates 5 - 15 Phosphates below .05 ph 8.15 and sg 1.026. Started at 1.5 " now 7+ in 8 months.

Edit: gorgeous piece, enjoy it. Looks happy!

All other coral looking good?
Besides one zoa that isn't opening and a green goblin favia that's skeleton is showing, I'm pretty happy. Not sure what it is about rainbow eclipse zoas, but they don't seem to do so well in my tank

I'd focus on favia. But, up to you. If the trachy is still extending as usual. I wouldn't stress over shapes. I never cared for a favia long term. They always died on me :(

I certainly hope that temp is just a misprint?
