Trachyphillia mounting/placement question

I just got my first Trachy and am questioning myself on how to place it. I have searched for the answer but couldn't really come up with anything solid. I usually see these corals placed in the sand bed, but since I run bare bottom and don't have a sand bed I'm not sure the best way to place it. The skeleton is rather cone shaped, so if I just lay it down it would be pretty much on it's side. Currently I have it in a small slice of PVC pipe keeping it upright on the bottom of the tank but this doesn't look the greatest. Any help on placing trachys in a bare bottom setup?

Trachyphyllias do best on the sand bed because there's usually no hard objects near that can damage or irritate their tissue. If you can place it on your rockwork where it has plenty of space around and underneath it, that'd be fine too.

Otherwise gluing it to a small piece of rock that's stable and heavy enough to keep it in place, but small or smooth enough to not irritate the coral will work too.

You could try a small or shallow dish or container. Tupaware. Ect and fill it to the rim with sand...
