Hello all,
After removing a gall crab from my Tracky, leaving a decent sized hole in its side.. I have seen these spots appearing on the coral.
At the same time I found my nitrates where up around >50ppm. I have been carbon dosing this down to no around 5-10ppm over around a month period. Almost killed my hammer but it is now bouncing back great.
The coral has certainly had a rough start from it's relaxing time in the QT to all this kicking off when introduced into the DT.
The hole from the gall crab appears to be closing up but it's a slow slow process.
Calcium 425-450
Mag - 1295 -1350
Alk - 9-10
Phosphate - 1ppm if not more, working on bringing this down.
PH - 8 - 8.2
Temp - 24-25 Deg C
I was looking for help with this but couldn't find much online, so hoping to share any updates for anyone else who comes across this :)
