Trachys are weird

This trachy inflates in all sorts of strange ways throughout the week. Sometimes it spreads out horizontally, sometimes it gets super wrinkly, but this is the strangest thing it does.

It's probably not immediately obvious from the photo, but the flesh has expanded so much and pushed so far down that the skeleton is no longer on the sandbed.

By far our most personable coral.

How often does yours get that puffy? I was freaked out the first time mine didi that!

Twice a week or so.

What freaks me out the most is when it poops. Every time, without fail, I panic because it looks like it got punctured. Then it starts expelling waste and I know all is well...
