Are ornamental clams safe from copper banded butterfly's?
 
Thanx. I've read people feed them out of a clam shell, which would imply tradacna Rockefeller is on the menu
 
There is risk with any fish. Any fish will eat food/debris off of the mantle, but not actually bit the clam. They can bother them even if they don't pick on them.

That being said, I have personally never had an issue with a copperband with my clams.
