I'm in the process of doing my tank transfer and completely forgot to swap over the biospheres' and the siporax. They now have been sitting in about an inch of nasty stagnant water for a few days. Would it be safe to toss them into a bucket of RO and bleach or RO and vinegar then let them dry out and put them in the new tank?

If only a few days then rinsing to get detritus off should suffice.
