I was still in high school and my parents never really came in my room much, my mom flipped out and wouldn’t go back in there knowing I had it. For some reason she started biting my hand when I would hold her, have her away when I went to college.

Some how my wife is ok with trantulas and roaches in the house but snakes are a no go.

I see my husband already commented lol. I would love to have another one. Maybe one day @DSC reef and I can compromise. For now we will stick to reptiles, fish, and birds:)

He really didn't like that idea. I tried. I would be scared if I showed up to the house with a pet snake. Heather's ok with releasing snakes around the house.

We can't have Dubai's here in florida (i wish as they are much cheaper) we do keep discoids for our bearded dragons. I don't like roaches. This is our breeding colony;Nailbiting..

I had a nice colony of hissing roaches but feed all the males to the lizards. Mega fail on my part

Pulled a five foot black rat snake out of a customers basement a few yrs back. One of the coolest things I've done.

They have some impressive fangs but the venom of many species is relatively harmless to humans (some have worse reactions than others and some actually pack an impressive punch).
