New world t(n , s ,c America) reports no worse than a bee sting. They flick hair that acts like finer glass, Causes irritation. Never picked them up I'm afraid that they will fall off and injury themselves.
Old world t venom is a bit stronger in some species.

We can't have Dubai's here in florida (i wish as they are much cheaper) we do keep discoids for our bearded dragons. I don't like roaches. This is our breeding colony;Nailbiting..

This is why I can't keep lizards of any kind...I can't handle the bugs! As for snakes, here is my almost 23 year old ball python "Tut". I got her when she was just a couple of weeks old on my 7th birthday :)

That's impressive. How big is he.

I

Pulled a five foot black rat snake out of a customers basement a few yrs back. One of the coolest things I've done.

I would be putting that house on the market. We just moved into a new home with some land so Im assuming I will start to see more. Our old place backed up to 10 acres of woods and the owner decided to build a mansion and a pond last year, the amount of snakes that got pushed out of that area was insane, I wouldnt go out in my backyard haha.

What happens if they bite you? Can you handle them a lot?

Id never get one because I dont want a divorce but they do look cool.
When my rose hiar bit me multiple times, it felt like a bee sting, would leave a mark and be raised for about a day. No other issues.

Beautiful. 23, that's awesome!
@DSC reef I love ball pythons.

Wow those dragons are beautiful! I’ve never seen ones with coloration like that! Love the pythons as well :)
Thank you! My wife found them from a breeder. The female is actually turning very red so they will actually get more color as they age. The pythons are ivory and banana morphs.

Is that your safe word??
;Hilarious;Hilarious
Ha, ha! We watch impractical jokers and one of the guys on the show is named Q. He hates spiders and his punishment was to get covered in tarantulas while being strapped down. The other guys told him to use pumpernickel as a safe word but it was also a prank so they can here him just scream pumpernickel! Classic episode man.

My house turned into an ant super colony and I lost a few scolopendra, scorpions, and all my avic slings
Thats awful. What type of ants where they.

Just basic little black ants! It sucked but It was also a growing trend. No matter how much poison we use our house is overrun every summer still, 10 years later.

Wow
