Trident cal/mag issues

Is it normal for cal and mag to kind of mirror each other

i like my readings alk is spot on with salfert cal is off but only 5-10ppm so im not worried about it but im noticing a consistent pattern with my mag/cal readings

-105 gallons
-dosing 11.3ml ALL FOR REEF twice a day
-reagents replaced last week

I'm guessing it's just the inaccuracy of the magnesium test BUT alk, cal, and mag should theoretically follow the same trend, not opposite of each other.

Randy's talked about it in several threads - there's a known ratio that Alk, Cal, and Mag all follow fairly closely.
