I’m trying to update my Trident to a new alkalinity setting and it’s saying successful but maintaining the old programming.

Presently my alkalinity is set for 11.0 and I’m trying to up it to 12.0. I’ve been running slightly over 11.4 the last couple days and I decided to stop fighting it. I use high alkalinity Fritz mix. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I don’t see how to look at the programming, I just use the task manager step by step to make changes. That has always been my go to in the past.

I’m not sure exactly what your question is. Are you talking about trident or dos? Trident is just a tester you cannot update your alk on trident. Unless you are talking about calibration of trident? Or are you talking about dos?

If dos then you would just raise the base value of ml being dosed at here modify interval

The Trident controls the DOS based on levels I want it to maintain. When I try to update a new target for alkalinity it looks like everything goes normally, but then the new target isn’t updated. My alarm for being out of range is still on because it’s based on the old number.

Post pictures of your program so I can look at them

I don’t know how to get to the Trident programming, if I knew that I could likely change what I need to from there. Any idea how to get there? I only know how to use the task manager walkthrough to change it.
That’s what I’m saying there is no trident programming the program is in your dos. Which task are you performing. I assume trident controlled dosing. Either way your program is in the dos not trident.

And either way when you perform task it sets up dos and you can adjust dos from there by clicking the settings button on one of the 2 dos tabs and then modify interval as I stated above

And if you are performing controlled dosing task you can just do it again and raise the base ml value

I know how the Trident Controlled dosing walkthrough works, I’ve done it several times. I’m saying that when I try to change it now, it doesn’t. I get a message that says the change was successful, but it’s still giving an alarm based on the old target. I’ll post updates after work.

I have had a problem like this before changing a program on Apex the fix ended up being not using my phone to do it instead I used my display module and then it updated maybe that’s your issue I bet you’re using a phone. Or try using a web browser on pc

And you are sure when you are setting up the trident controlled dosing you are increasing the range? If not it will never update, it’s programmed like that. Hence the alarm and goes to regular dosing based on ML

I am making some progress I think. I have the DOS pump set at 12.0dkh (where I want it), but the alarm still shows 11.0 is the limit. I’m guessing there’s a specific place I have to go to edit the alarm? I’ll post a screenshot in a couple minutes.

Like I said, use the setup so it changes the range. hit the “clipboard” in the top left core NER and select trident controlled dosing
