Don't worry, I was planning to keep it simple with my new tank and grabbed an Apex EL BRS version for less than $200 from a local. Now, $1,300 later, I have an EB832, a Trident and a DOS. ;Facepalm I feel your pain!
Lol I knew that most people who got that $250 BRS deal would then spend a ton on all the other accessories. :p

They should have a Poll and see how many of the people spent extra and what amount did they spend.

I don’t know about others but I switched to Apex specifically because I wanted the Trident. So, my situation may not be the same as others.

I got the BRS version because I had no interest in keeping track of salinity etc.
