Hi,

I have a sps reef tank and have used interceptor many times before without any issues beside the obvious death of shrimp, hermits, etc.....
My problem is that our vet no longer carries the interceptor pills. Instead they now carry a product/pill called Trifexis.....it has the same main ingredient as interceptor, MO, but also has an additional ingredient called spinosad.
I want to know if anyone has any info on this product, Trifexis....?? Is it safe to use just like interceptor??

Ben

Not sure about the extra ingredient.
Some people have luck ordering from Australia.

I did a little more research and it seems as though the extra ingredient "spinosad" is not very reef safe......couldn't find much info out there on it nor anyone who has used it. Australia?? Go on.....
