Not been on here for a while but had my marine tank for over 12 years (tropical long before that) and finally got bored of the aquascape. I took the plunge and spent the day redoing it and was really pleased with the outcome. However, in my enthusiasm I caused an ammonia spike and wiped out all my hard coral. I’m just about over it now (just), it’s the only tank crash I’ve had but still massively frustrated with myself.

However, on a more positive note. Everything has settled down and I’m now looking to restock. I am running Triton and NOPOX. I have a spare dosing head and was wondering what others dose to help with coral and fish health?

Any help appreciated.

Thats no fun, weve all been there. Youll likely have to rdduce triton dosing. Le t things settle beford adding another variable.
I run tm bacto balance, switched from triton to all for reef, and am trialing ammonium bicarb (low nitrate)

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
