Triton Method No Calcium Reactor ?

For the triton method I see that they don't use a calcium reactor and also on their website states that " switching from calcium reactor to triton method . How is dosing more effective the a simple calcium reactor that we don't have to worry about ? Is it because the 4 part element dosing ?
