I'm setting up a new tank and looking for sand. Premium Aquatics (which, AFAIK, is the only seller of Tropic Eden) is out of stock of mesoflakes, reefflakes, and tonka pink... I was planning on mixing one of those three with the miniflakes (2:1 ratio). I inquired about stock and was told that they hope for new stock by the end of the year.

Should I just grab the miniflakes now and wait or look into alternatives? Really looking for as white of a sand as I can that's not going to be completely sugar sized.

I find its hard to keep sand very white over time. If it does came back in stock I would get some extra bags

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
