It’s been like 15 years I’d guess? Anyways I’m back! No big massive systems like I’ve had in the past since I’m just getting my feet wet in years lol.. but I got a rimless 60gal cube that I purchased as a fish only but that’s already changing as I have a light on order and changing all the filtration!

Banged out a quick acrylic radion holder for my tank while I await the light to come Friday! Couldn’t justify a $125 on a bracket I can make from scrap lol.. fully adjustable from 4”-10” high.

Seriously! Sheesh! Hopefully I can build back up by trading work like I used too! I built thousands of tanks, sumps, protein skimmers and even led lights before they were a thang! We’ll see how it goes!

Radion showed up yay!! Obviously had the mount ready to go upon arrival! Seems like I have a lot to learn with light but I’ll keep reading.. got a few tester corals to see how it goes.. I know it’s a Superman monti but no clue on the zoos and don’t really care at this point.. I think that’s one of the major things that turned me off in this hobby years ago was chasing the high end names and spending 1000’s of dollars on them lol.. if it looks cool I’m buying it! Don’t care what it’s called haha! Besides strawberry shortcake I got a weak spot for that acro! I will find a colony when it’s time!

Yes sir! I bought this as a Fowler system.. gave away 5 of the 8 fish.. only thing in the tank is a couple tester corals “nitrates were high” and a coral beauty, six line and chalk bass… the previous owner had millions of bio balls and filter floss, miracle mud in the sump etc.. I stripped all that and started over after a massive water change and getting rid of all that crap and 5 of the previous fish.

I am actually very impressed with this Amazon special skimmer that came with my tank lol.. it wasn’t working too well when I bought the tank but after playing with it and dosing some vodka in my tank it fills the cup in 2 days with some nasty stuff!! Not bad for a el cheapo lol… I’m used to building them or buying high end ones.

Busted out a new stand that will match my house! Not to mention a 1000 times stronger than the wood one my tank came with! Waiting on chrome and white laminate to show up and I will finish it! Modern look.
