I figured that is what you are going to do but it’s a different approach. I like it
When I started looking into these I found 1 guy from 2013 that asked about them but that was it. Glass quality is about the same as aqueon tanks. It does taper at the bottom to width is 37 and 35 at the bottom

Awesome. I have a 270 Pentair without window. I’ll eventually upgrade to the 8 ft version with window.

I drilled it on the short end (peninsula style) and put in a 24” wide modular marine overflow box with bean animal drain.

I’m a big fan of these. The price per gallon is unbeatable.

Also, you can create some good waves in it without worrying about structural integrity. I have a Tunze Wavebox in mine.

Yeah I ordered it on a Monday it was to me that Friday. You can’t beat the price at all. How does your hold heat? I figured fiberglass would contain the heat better as well. I’m definitely a fan of the fact I don’t have to worry about tanks coming apart in the middle of the night now

Holds heat well. Mine is in an unfinished room in the basement and no issues maintaining temp. I have two BRS 600w heaters on an inkbird.
