Hi guys,

My TSA Holy Grail was thriving in my tank for a long time. Going from 1 head to 6. Over the past several months it has withered down to 2 heads. Can you share what PAR you are growing them at? I am keeping it at around 200-225 PAR. It did not like it lower.

My torches are at 200-250. I'd start looking at parameters if you say it was thriving before. Also, what kind of shrimp do you have? I can see the antennae in the background.

I was listening to the Reef Garage podcast a few days ago and one thing they talked about was how the OG Holy Grails like to be up in the SPS level of PAR. So I decided to move mine up and it seems to be reacting well and the yellow is really starting to come in. It’s on the same PAR level as my acroporas now.

Just a cleaner shrimp.
Ok, some shrimp can go rogue and start nipping at LPS corals is why I'm asking. If you haven't changed anything in the tank and it was once thriving. I'd be looking for a reason... ie.. something eating it, parameters

The length of the tentacles on the blowtorch and dragon tamer suggests they need more light. Torches will extend their tentacles to reach for light if they aren't getting enough.

I don't disagree, those are actually only getting close to 100-150 PAR. They both seem to do okay under lower PAR and these are my fasters growers so I try to keep them in check.
