Anyone know what the tubes at the base of this coral are? I thought feather dusters since I have a ton in the tank but I've never seen the "feather " parts exposed on these.

Vermitid Snails. They are sessile snails that put out sweeper tenticles.

I super glued over the top of the tubes. How long should I eat to break them off to make sure they are dead? I don't know if I can safely get to break off the base of the snail.
