No, the pump comes with the adapters I'm pretty sure. It's been a while since I set it up so I don't remember.

Jebao is standard 1/4" tubing

Either should be fine, but the softer is a little easier to work with.

It should be in plumbing, usually on a bottom shelf with other tubing. You want to make sure its 1/4 inch OD (outer diameter)
