Hello, I have a brand new 3152 that I just purchased a few days ago. On power on it will do the initial water fill then afterward it will not work anymore. I can take the float switch completely out of the water and the pump will not run. Only time it will fill water is when I power off then power back on. Anyone has any idea on why it may be? Thanks..

Are you sure the cause is not just the normal safety timer? Have you read and followed the section in the manual on setting and understanding the safety time limit? Out of the box it is set for a tank under 26 gallons, it can only add about 1 quart before the time limit shuts it down, it cannot make up very low water levels, only evaporation as it happens.

I am aware of the safety timer and it is not that. I own 2 other 3152 and one of them I switched the pin to have longer safety timer. This new one no matter what I do, just won't trigger a water fill other than initial power on.

Try swapping the pump with one of your others, a bad pump will cause this behavior and would be an easy fix, we can send a new pump. I understand the pump works but if it uses more than 900mA, the controller cuts off the power to it.

Looks like it is the pump problem. Switching out to an older pump then it works fine. I will pm you for a new pump, thanks Roger.
