With trepidation, I replaced my trusty old Tunze.

New works fine but no audible alarm. I may be missing in instructions? Accidental silent mode function? Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, there is no alarm on the new models.

Well, that would explain it. I would have preferred the new pump and wiring on the old system.

Yes, with the waterproofing of the new unit, the alarm is gone, this was always a controversial feature, we found slightly more than half of users hated the alarm and since water damage was the single biggest cause of failure, waterproofing which removed any ability to have an alarm was deemed more important.

Love my 2 3154's. Very nice upgrade, imo. No need for the alarm.
