Tunze 3155 problems

Hello,

I recently added a tunze 3155 to my nuvo 40, and it doesn't seem to work correctly. I have it set up as shown in the instructions. I have it placed in the chamber that the pump is in where the water level changes. My issue is that whenever it fills the tank up, it always sets off the high water level alarm. This system has only been on my tank for a week. Any suggestions about how to fix this?

Hard to really know what is causing the issue without more information & maybe some pics to show your arrangement. If the high level float switch is always kicking on, then I'd guess you have a siphon issue. Is the Tunze pump/ top off reservoir higher than the top off pipe outlet? The top off pipe needs to be higher to prevent a siphon. These are great ATOs once you get them set up just right, so hopefully you can provide more info. HTH
