I am also looking for something to put in the corner of my 180g - 6x2x2 - and push very gentle flow where the gyres don't reach

Would this work - or is it going to be too powerful even turned way down?

Does a great job in the back corner of my 5x2x2 to move water behind the rock work. It has a wide range of flow and can be set quite low but I can’t imagine you’d use it below 25% on that big of a tank

Have a 95 on my 4 ft and I love it. Reaches from wall to wall. It’s strong as hell I keep it at 70%. Had a slight humming to mine but realized it was from the drastic difference in pattern I had it set to. Recently adjusted the pattern and it’s silent now

Well it would be pointed at some stuff only 6-12 inches away and going across the diagonal in the corner where the rest of the gyre flow doesn't hit

After months of running the 6075s on my tank, they are absolutely incredible. I took the 6095 out and put a 6075 in. They push the 4 feet with zero issues and just hum along. After the initial break-in, they are darn near silent. I have them ramp between 30-90% on a random schedule in an anti-sync mode.

Can't wait for the new Orca to become available. I might have to get new lids made though to make them work on my system. Not looking forward to that

I use 6255 for my 6 ft x 30 inch wide peninsular. This have the punch to push water all the way across 6 ft and bounce back.

I use 2 6255's on my 60×30×21 attached to Sweeps. All the flow you need easily in a 5-6' system.

Would you recommend using these to augment two gyres on a 6ft tank?

I might need to add two at some point to angle some extra flow because the gyres get so soft towards the middle especially after a month or two in when gyres lose power

If on the back wall, they should work. They can move a lot of water but it is very broad and wide. Not a lot of velocity.

The 6095 is also wide, not as wide as the 75, but more velocity so it can reach areas better if that makes sense.

The Orca 6075 or 6105 would also be killer IMO once they’re available

Thanks - I think that would be perfect to angle towards the middle without blasting too much

Been using this flow pump for a couple weeks now and it’s perfect for the corner

As the reviews have mentioned it can be dialed way down and creates a very soft, wide flow to help with dead areas

Going to get another when they’re on sale

Could I keep acropora in that tank? Is there enough flow?

Love my 6075s running anti-sync. Still working out the bugs getting them manually programed by I found out today there is app coming out in the next 30 days. Product itself is phenomenal but the UI at the HUB is interesting! tunze customer service is top notch, Roger has the patience of a saint.
