I have a Tunze 9001 skimmer which I previously hated now starting to appreciate it, so much so I want to buy the DC model, can someone talk me out of it, telling me me why the non DC Tunze is just as good?

I haven’t used the AC variant but do run the DC on my nano. The adjustable pump speed makes it super tuneable, and it’s pretty quiet once it breaks in. Overall it’s much better than the AC skimmer that came with the tank.

I been using the Tunze 9001 AC on my 10gal for a total of 2 years, works well so far. It is silent, easy to set up and it just works…

If you get the DC version let us know what it improves…

The non DC 9001 you have is better than the DC 9001 you don't have because you don't have to spend the money on the one you don't have because you already have the one you have and can spend that money on that new frag you want instead. :smiling-face-with-sunglasses:

Actually that’s a good point!
