Tunze ATO tube to push fitting??

I already have a Tunze ATO that I’ve been using for yrs, but I want to change out the container and have the output tube somehow go through the side of the container instead of out of the top. Anyone done this??? How?
 
Do you have a photo of what you want to do? With my TUNZE, I drilled two holes into a bucket lid and pushed the tubes through that. I don't know if this is what you are looking for or not, haha
 
That’s what currently have. If I fill the container up too high, I end getting a siphon created. I want to use a larger container to hold more ro, but am trying to NOT go out of the top…to avoid creating a siphon with the higher water level. I want to use a small bulkhead to go out of the side of the container at a lower point.

It is the water level of the reservoir vs the output that creates the siphon.

3/8" to 1/4" push lock union to use 1/4 rodi tubing.
 
Yes that’s what creates the problem. And want to be able to use a larger reservoir and just have the output come out of the side still below that water level..can’t seem to find a way to transition the Tunze output tube to push fit connector.

Coming out the side does not solve that problem.

Use a 3/8" x 1/4" pushlock union to transition from the Tunze ATO pump to 1/4" rodi tubing

The siphon is caused by the differences in water level between ATO reservoir and sump…

I used a primitive siphon break; a tee in the ATO tubing at the highest point, with around 8” of tubing sticking straight up from there! This sucks air/breaks the siphon when the pump turns off!
 
I thought the siphon was being caused by the highest point of the outlet tube being higher than where the tube actually ends in the sump. That was planning on having the tube come out lower through the side of the top off container.

The siphon from ATO container to sump is caused by your ATO container’s water level being higher than your ATO pump tubing’s outlet…


If your ATO pump tubing exits the ATO containers side submerged, you’ll just get water dumping into your sump…

Put your ATO container lower and/or discharge your water into the sump from a higher tubing position!
