Mine arrives tomorrow. comparison to my Arid will be in order.

Definitely looks like it'll be easier on maintenance. Just saw it at RAP.

Nice looking forward to some feedback. I almost pulled the trigger when premium Aquatics had 15% off Tunze but really wanted to see some feedback first. My new setup isn’t in need of one right now anyway so I’ll wait and see how everyone likes it.

I have seen in a highly regarded German store that the Large mode will only be available towards year end... any particular reason for that?

Get the numbers bak yet? How was the growth/harvest?
I did, but then left for vacation for a couple weeks.

Both reactors, the numbers and consumption remained very consistent. Good.

Due to ease of maintenance, and what I believe the tumble with the Tunze vs. The Arid.......and I Also decided to break down the small tanks.

I am going to swap out the Arid and keep the Tunze.

Just seems cleaner growth, cleaner unit after a week of not touching, resulting in easier maintenance, less algae growing in light area etc.

I would love to get the Tunze 3182 but unfortunately it seems it will only be out by the end of the year (can't understand why the big model would take almost 9 months to come out...) so I will likely be going with the Pacific Sun one. Also do not like the fact that the unit must come with a pump when I already have a couple of very good 2.000L/h controllable DC pumps lying around.

I have been using the Tunze chaeto reactor for about a month. It is extremely well-made. I have it external to the sump. My only word of caution is to be very careful how you route the silicone hoses as any kink will stop it from working. They do include some plastic hose wrap that’s helpful around any bends. I am happy with my purchase. Already had to harvest chaeto once.
