Just trying to install a new 3152 but can't get it to work. When first plugged in it comes on and shuts off correctly when the float reaches the top. But it will not come on again unless I unplug and replug it . I've read that the magnets are too strong and to put the cardboard square that came with it between them, didn't change anything. Any ideas how to fix this?

Is it clicking after it runs for the first time? How long does it run for? Inside the little box there's a jumper that can be changed to run for two different time periods. If it runs for that maximum time it won't run again until the power is cycled. I believe if it has run for that maximum time it clicks after that until it is unplugged and plugged back in.

Have you received a solution to this problem? I have two brand new ones and both are doing what you have described

After about 2 days , it just started working normal, didn't do anything other than unplug it and plug it back in several time . And call it a few bad names, lol. . Haven't had any issues with it since.

Is it timing out? How big is the tank?
Mine wasn't timing out , only ran less than ten seconds. It's on a 29g tank with 15 g sump in the return chamber which holds about 3g so it only take less than a cupola f h2o to top off.

When it times out the pump pulses. Could the pump be airlocked? Always invert the pump under water to release any bubbles. If it's a magnet issue you can see the magnet leaning.
