Tunze nanostream and icecap battery back ups?

I have an IceCap battery back up can I just hook up my nanostream 6095 or do I need the adapter?
 
The 6045 needs 115V AC and cannot run on a battery back up, models 6055 and 6095 would work, 6040 can also run on a back up, but it is 12V and I believe the IceCap backup puts out 24V which will ruin the pump.
