Anybody else using a Wavebox? Anyone know what the white 19mm plastic cap is for on the bottom? Manual doesn't reference it other than listing it as a part. Some forums say to remove it.....most don't say anything about it at all. I left it on and it seems to operate fine.

This is from the manual....the cap sits on the very bottom and can easily be pulled out. I can get a pic of it actually on the device if that helps (have to pull it out of the tank). It is the second part.

Hmm

So I noticed this same part on their combine filter as well.

If the intake is on the bottom I’m thinking it was something to do with flow into the box

Is it a cap to cover where the bottom intake would be on a Comline Filter? @rvitko

I was able to grab a pic of it in the tank......there is no intake on the bottom so I don't think it has anything to do with that. I guess it is possible (they kind of look similiar?) it shares the same outer casing as the Comline filter, which would explain the unused part? Some forum posts suggest removing it which I didn't do and it is working fine. It is strange that is is an orderable/replaceable part that isn't mentioned at all in the manual.

That body is used for filters as well and that hole is used in them. I have seen Roger advise this plug is not to be removed on the wave box as it lessens the ability of the pump to quickly move the water inside the box.
