I bought a Tunze 6040 for my nano tank and it works well. However, when I set the min power to 0, the propeller jumps every time it stops during each pulse cyce. Is this normal?

Whenever our DC pumps are set to off, the impeller will twitch every few seconds, this is done to scare away any animal that might consider entering and then get killed or injured when the pump starts. It is normal.

I apologize if I didn't explain things clearly, so I recorded a short video.

OK, so it is pulsing rapidly? When the motor starts, the electromagnet energizes and pulls the impeller magnet down and that creates this jump, when the motor turns off, it rises up. If this is a 6040.005, if you set a ramp in the Tunze HUB that will solve it by easing the start, if it is an older 6040.000, using 20-100% instead of 0-100% will solve it. It will not harm anything but if it annoys you, this is how to solve it.
